Billy covered her tracks. Shanti is startled when she gets a call from Stefano: Rik was hit by a car! Julian still wants to be honest about Bruno's accident. Bing, Stefano, and Ruben are against it and put pressure on him. Nina is startled when she listens to her voicemail: did Bruno go to Bing to confront him?

Julian, Stefano, and Ruben are being questioned by the police. Will they hold their ground and stick to their fabricated alibi? Billy enlists Nola to find out from Stefano what he knows about Rik's car accident. Demi is surprised when Julian turns out to be angry at Ruben. Nina blames herself for Bruno's death.

Janine is frustrated because Rex is still in Meerdijk, so she sends Linda after him. Elly and Henk take over Julian's De Koning and look after Manu and Marie. Nina denies to the police that she had anything to do with Bruno's death. Nola runs into trouble when there's no room available for a well-known influencer. Troj inadvertently comes up with a solution.

Shanti stays by Rik's side, who is still unconscious and receives an unexpected visitor. Julian has had enough when he finds out that Noor has been in touch with Quin again. Ludo accuses Nola of acting irresponsibly. Bing and Stefano decide they'll have to tell Rik about the fabricated alibi once he regains consciousness.

Nina isn't welcome at Bruno's funeral and asks Bing to go with Manu. She's annoyed when Vesper tags along, too. Will the police fall for Billy's fake alibi? Luuk returns and thinks Linda is acting strangely. Nina gets furious at Julian when she finds out he tore down the little altar he'd set up for Bruno.

Bing tells Rik what happened to Bruno and wants him to pretend he doesn't remember anything. Elisa notices there's tension between Billy and Shanti. Nina goes on a retreat to find meaning in Bruno's death. Janine lies about her affair and asks Rex to stay away from Ludo.

Stefano has been outbid and wants to borrow more money from Ludo. Ludo refuses, because he thinks Stefano has been cheated. Nola is relieved that the procedure is over. Demi makes it clear to Ruben that she doesn't want to be inseminated today. Janine tells Linda the truth about Rex. Nola makes Troj think about his anger toward Luuk.

Henk and Elly are actively looking for a café of their own. Will Elisa start having feelings for Rik again? Nina realizes what she needs to do to give meaning to Bruno's death. Billy takes his frustration out on Nola because Shanti is ignoring her. Noor throws herself at Julian to suppress her confusion about Quin.

Nina uses her concerns about Nola as an excuse to try to get closer to Bing. Rik is startled when the detective suggests using hypnosis to bring back his memories. Shanti is surprised when Billy warns her about Elisa's plan. Luuk notices that Troj is having money troubles again and comes up with an idea.

Shanti hopes that the hypnosis will reveal who hit Rik with a car. Meanwhile, Julian starts to panic, and Bing has to step in. To her own surprise, Noor is disappointed when Quin promises not to bother her anymore. Marie and Seb get into an argument about their parents' reconciliation. Nola is proud of Troj when he dares to stand up to Ludo.

Noor confesses to Julian that she still has feelings for Quin. Janine shares her concerns with Linda when it becomes clear that Stefano and Rex hit it off. Henk and Elly continue working on their plan to start their own business. Nina blames Vesper for Max getting hurt.

Ludo and Stefano suspect there's something going on between Janine and Rex. Shanti is amused when Rex makes a pass at her. Elisa hopes that the love between her and Rik isn't completely over as they reminisce together. Demi and Ruben bond over their frustration with the mess in the house. Elly turns down Billy's offer: her friendship isn't for sale!

Shanti is startled when Rik suddenly collapses and has to undergo emergency surgery. Are Henk and Elly ready to take a big step? Nina tries in vain to spend more time with Bing. Stefano's suspicion grows when he overhears Janine and Linda talking about Rex.

Julian kicks Noor and the kids out of the house while there's a major power outage in Meerdijk. To pass the time in the dark, Demi suggests that her housemates play "truth or dare." Ruben opts out. Is he afraid of the truth? Billy is completely overwhelmed and needs Elly, even though she ruined their friendship. Elisa is shocked when she hears that Rik's life is in danger.

Nina realizes that kissing Bing wasn't such a good idea. Noor chooses Julian, but does he even want her back? Linda stops Elisa when she tries to tell Rik the truth about Shanti. Just as Troj had expected, Ludo takes immediate action when Nola says she wants to give an interview about her inheritance.

To Stefano's surprise, Rex is actually quite friendly with Nola. Henk and Elly receive a huge bill that must be paid within a month. Shanti and Rik feel hopeful when Luuk tells them there's a donor. Janine is startled when Ludo senses the tension between her and Stefano.

Janine begs Stefano to keep quiet around Ludo. Meanwhile, Nola is shocked when Troj loses a job and blames her grandfather for it. Billy hears that Shanti is looking for a living donor for Rik. And how are Seb and Marie doing in the competition now that they know it's really over between their mother and Julian?

Nina is still looking for a way to drive a wedge between Vesper and Bing. Julian catches Noor and Quin and has to deal with what he finds. Demi can't believe how childish Troj is acting until she discovers what's really going on. Meanwhile, Shanti remains hopeful about Rik: many friends want to get tested, so a donor should be found in time.

Nina enlists Rex to try to win Vesper over, but the question is whether he's up for the challenge. Meanwhile, Linda takes Luuk by surprise with her plan to buy Henk and Elly's apartment. Demi and Ruben are startled when Nola comes home at exactly the wrong moment and barely manage to keep her from finding out what they were up to. Meanwhile, Noor tries to get rid of Quin once and for all.

Elisa asks Shanti why she isn't opting for a quickie wedding with Rik. Meanwhile, Stefano feels threatened by Rex, who is meddling in the renovation without being asked. Ludo senses that something is going on. Shanti is growing increasingly worried about Rik now that potential donors are dropping out and Linda doesn't dare to go through with it. Will Elly finally manage to convince Billy to get tested?

Nina surprises Shanti with a wedding outfit, while Rik asks Bing to take care of Shanti and Olivia when he's gone. Meanwhile, Stefano and Elisa reminisce about Rik. Elly discovers that Billy is a match, but Billy leaves without revealing that she might be Rik's salvation.

Elisa is shocked when Nina tells her that Rik didn't say "I do" at the wedding. Meanwhile, Elly tries to convince Henk to sell the apartment to Luuk and Linda. Bing flies into a rage when he sees that Rex had flowers delivered to Vesper. Luuk warns Shanti that she needs to prepare for the worst and advises her to go get Olivia.

Nola is offended when Ludo criticizes her presentation and decides to take Troj with her to the business meeting. Ruben accuses Troj and Demi of exposing their unborn child to toxic substances and takes action. Henk is worried about Julian, but can't get him to make amends with Noor. Meanwhile, Linda has had enough and gives Luuk an ultimatum: her or Mathilde.

When Shanti arrives at the hospital, Billy puts on a brave face in front of her, even though she's terrified of what's to come. After Ludo's threat, Troj has a hard time being happy for Nola. Janine is shocked to hear that Rex will likely stay in Meerdijk for another year. Meanwhile, Nina realizes that Vesper is hiding something from Bing.

Elly misses Billy. Without her and her gossip, things are pretty quiet in Meerdijk. Nina doesn't notice the tension between Stefano and Elisa. Henk is caught off guard by Linda and Luuk, who are already moving into the apartment. Fortunately, Elly has a solution. Will Shanti be able to keep Rik from finding out who his donor was?

When Shanti sees how vulnerable Billy is, she decides to leave her alone. Marwan is shocked to hear that it will take two years before he becomes Stefano's business partner. Julian, with Marie's help, surprises Noor with a romantic dinner, but starts experiencing ringing in his ears. Nola tries to make things right with Troj. However, she makes matters worse by repeating Ludo's words.

Luuk tells Billy off: she needs to rest to avoid complications. Janine seeks out Troj and subtly probes him about Ludo. Nina follows Vesper and is annoyed when she unexpectedly runs into Manu. Marwan confides his concerns about Demi to Julian and tries in vain to get him on his side.

Nina confides in Rex about Vesper and asks him to help her gather evidence. Linda explains to Julian the risks associated with his condition. Ruben feels uncomfortable when Bing tries to cheer him up. Henk can't seem to settle into Elly's garden shed and wants to leave as soon as possible. This time, he comes up with a solution himself!

Vesper and Demi confront Bing about his homophobic behavior toward Ruben. Rik is shocked when Luuk tells him that his liver rejection could become permanent. Billy is moved when Shanti stands up for him. Will Rex and Nina succeed in their mission to expose Vesper?

Noor is worried that Julian will get too stressed out if Henk and Marie get into an argument. Rik has a panic attack in front of Billy. To both their surprise, she manages to calm him down. Janine is startled when Nina and Rex get along so well. She can't stop Ludo and Luuk from noticing that this is causing her stress.

Stefano tries to hide his feelings for Elisa and doesn't realize that Janine has noticed the chemistry between them. Ludo is pleased when Nola gets fed up with Troj and throws herself into a deal for the Rozenboom. Marwan deliberately provokes an aggressive reaction from Ruben and uses it to make him look bad in Demi's eyes.

Linda wants to know the real reason behind Ruben's sick leave. Julian and Stefano are afraid that Ruben will reveal the truth. They pressure Bing to make things right with him. Demi is surprised when Troj refuses to help her organize the surprise party for Nola. Meanwhile, Bing makes Nola wonder: is she letting Ludo influence her too much?
