Executive Chef and owner of Michelin-starred Esme in Chicago, Chef Jenner Tomaska is visiting the farm for the first time. He and Farmer Lee are strolling the fields talking about the importance of knowing where your food comes from and extolling the virtues of serving food at its ripest stage. Then they head to the test kitchen where Chef Tomaska is playing a riff off of burrata, roasting watermelon and intensifying the tomato in a new and exciting way.

The Chef's Garden joins Farmer Lee Jones on his farm as he meets with renowned chefs from across the country to celebrate fresh produce and regenerative agriculture with aspirational, creative dishes.
In each half hour episode, The Chef's Garden brings viewers to the farm and into its industrial kitchen, the Culinary Vegetable Institute, where Farmer Lee and his chef friends—some of the most celebrated names in the industry including Emma Bengtsson, Curtis Duffy, Jenner Tomaska, and Rachael Ray — use the inspiration from the farm to experiment and cook together. Utilizing the ingredients around them, the chefs create dishes ranging from beat granita with cured salmon and chilled corn soup to Thai spiced shepherd's pie and crab meat stuffed burrata with roasted watermelon and tomatoes.
