Nompton's first Gnome-a-Palooza festival is meant to save the town from ruin. But after a drunken night, Constable Arnold Kipps unwittingly triggers an ancient curse, awakening a dormant evil and her army of killer garden gnomes.

Gardens are wrecked, the Gnome Queen statue and caretaker Berty have vanished, and Mayor Lachlan's secret is out. As bodies pile up, Arnold suspects local teens, but Zayn's camera captures proof of something impossible: killer gnomes!

Tourists flood Nompton and the mayor insists the festival go on, despite murder and dead phone lines. The teens plot to capture a gnome alive, while Arnold and Ellie, searching for Berty, are hunted by tiny assassins.

With the bridge out and the town trapped, gnomes besiege the police station. Two mysterious visitors reveal the truth: destroy the Gnome Queen's hatchet by dawn or Arnold turns to stone. Meanwhile, the teens discover a weakness.

The gnomes launch a full-scale invasion. Arnold and Ellie race to find the hatchet as the curse takes hold, Josie tries to fire up the factory kiln, and the teens fight to deliver a game-changing plan before sunrise.

Dawn nears as the battle for the gnome factory erupts. With Arnold turning to stone, Ellie faces an impossible choice, while the teens and blinded Mayor Lachlan risk everything to save the day. Can Nompton survive the Gnome Queen?
