Sherri Papini: Caught in the Lie

After disappearing in broad daylight and sparking a nationwide search, Sherri Papini mysteriously returns, battered and branded. When her tantalizing tale turns out to be fake, the world turns against her. She says the real story has never been told.

The wife and mother at the center of one of the most sensational kidnapping cases ever speaks for the first time about the circumstances that led to her mysterious disappearance, why she lied to the FBI, and what the media got wrong about her story.

A convicted liar, Sherri enters prison with a target on her back. After release, troubling details of her childhood and, later, her marriage to Keith are revealed, and her inability to recall details of her story leads to an on-camera breakdown.

For the first time, Sherri tells her story of what happened during her 22-day disappearance. A polygraph test forces a surprising shift in her narrative. And two final confrontation complicate the quest for truth and real justice.
