Na Bo-bae is a struggling writer — and human electrical conductor. Suddenly, she bumps into Baek Ho-rang, the first person who's immune to her sparks.

When Ho-rang realizes that Bo-bae's strange powers could be the solution to his heart-battery needs, he tries to make her an offer she can't refuse.

Ho-rang and Bo-bae become roommates and make things official. As per their contract, they go on their first date for Bo-bae's romance research.

Bo-bae ends up as Ho-rang's personal assistant. After a tense birthday lunch with his family, Ho-rang is moved by Bo-bae's simple surprise.

Han Seol-hee comes to Ho-rang with a marriage proposal, but he makes his disinterest clear. Meanwhile, Ji Eun-ho tries to draw closer to Bo-bae.

Bo-bae impresses with her writing skills, but seeing Bo-bae and Eun-ho's bond up close ignites jealous sparks within Ho-rang. Eun-ho makes a bold move.

Worried about endangering yet another person she cares about, Bo-bae keeps her distance from Ho-rang. Do-yoon and Seol-hee's schemes come to a head.
